Henri Fosso is the CEO of the company Fimex International and the Managing director of Croplife the Cameroon branch. Today, Henri Fosso is a key player in agricultural development in Cameroon. .
The production and distribution of fertilisers and pesticides is his business. A former student of the Ecole Fédérale Supérieure d’Agriculture de Nkolbisson in Cameroon and the Institut d’Administration d’Entreprise d’Aix-en-Provence in France, Henri Fosso understood very early on that he had to seize opportunities in the agricultural sector.
Back in Cameroon at the end of the 1960s, Henri Fosso was recruited as the manager of the Mbongo plantation of Socapalm. He spent 8 years (1969-1977) at Socapalm. From 1977 to 1992, Henri Fosso was head of Shell Chimie Afrique. The experience he acquired in the field, first as a plantation manager and then as manager of a chemical company, led him to entrepreneurship. In 1993, Henri Fosso created the company Fimex International. After 24 years of existence, his company is a leader in the production of pesticides and fertilisers for farmers.
Henri Fosso’s career is characterised by its consistency. He has never strayed from the agricultural world. He has been able to listen to opportunities and position himself as a key player in the agricultural sector in Cameroon and Central Africa. After more than 20 years of experience, he knew at the right time to make the leap to entrepreneurship. His knowledge of the agricultural world has enabled him to better understand the needs of the sector and to position himself as a true solution provider.
